2009 - 2010 Jr. High Dual Meet Mid-Season Report

On December 14, 2009, the Jr. High Wrestling Team opened their dual meet season by defeating Gateway 66 - 30. Wes Byerly, TJ Brady, Casey McGowan, Devin Austin, and William Palerino pinned their opponents. Mike Risnear, Jon Lukart, and Craig Slepsky won their matches by decision. Dominic Zona, Paul Ronca, and Ryan Winslow received forfeits.

On December 21, 2009, the Jr. High Team traveled to Greensburg to take on Greensburg Salem. The Little Lions proved to be too much for the Warriors as they defeated PT, 60 - 33. Anthony Fiasco, Casey McGowan, Devin Austin, and Craig Slepsky pinned their opponents. Mike Risnear won his match by decision. TJ Brady also figured into the scoring for PT as he received a forfeit. Tyler Schramm won by decision in an exhibition bout.

The Jr. High team concluded December's dual meets by traveling to Derry on December 23, 2009, to take on the Little Trojans. PT defeated Derry by the final score of 70 - 18. Pinning for the Little Warriors were Casey McGowan, Devin Austin, Jon Lukart, Richie Bryer, Craig Slepsky, and William Palerino. Will Karan won by decision, while Anthony Fiaco, Cody Winslow, TJ Brady, Mike Risnear, and Justin Smith received forfeit victories. Denver Stahl won his 1st Jr. High match by pinning his opponent in exhibition action.

On January 4, 2010, the Jr. High wrestling team rang in the new year by defeating the Kiski Caveliers by the score of 61 - 33. Cody Winslow, Mike Risnear, Casey McGowan, Devin Austin, Will Karan, Jon Lukart, Craig Slepsky, and William Palerino won their matches by pinning their opponents. Tyler Hadad and Richie Bryer beat their opponents by decision. Dominic Zona received a forfeit. In exhibition action TJ Brady and Ryan Winslow pinned their opponents

On January 6, 2010, the Jr. High Wrestling Team defeated Indiana by the score of 66 - 27. TJ Brady, Mike Risnear, Casey McGowan, Devin Austin, Ryan Winslow, Craig Slepsky, and William Palerino pinned their opponents. Tyler Hadad, Justin Smith, Jon Lukart, and Richie Bryer received forfeit wins. Paul Ronca pinned his opponent in exhibition action.
